A New Woman in 1966

In the fall of 1966, we saw a new tv series that spoke to a changing role for women. She was a professional working woman who also had a boyfriend. And she became a role model for many of us.

Watching Marlo Thomas on television meant seeing what she was wearing. The 1960s fashions she wore can still be found today. Vintage fashion stores have become a new trend.
