Many of us remember the fashion from the 1960s. Some designs are timeless. Culottes? That may be a word you have not heard since 1967.
Turns out that word was used for centuries to describe clothing on the lower half of the body, including European men’s knee-breeches during the reign of French King Henry from 1574 to 1589.
