First a little history. Here is an overview of what was decided by the Supreme Court of the U.S. on June 12, 1967 as Loving versus the State of Virginia.
There was a documentary of the case released in 2012 by HBO. And then last year a feature film called “Loving” was released. Here is the trailer for the film:
In 1967, we had another film that dealt with an interracial relationship and it was set in San Francisco. Here is the trailer for “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.” This is last appearance of Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy together on film. Tracy died soon after filming ended. The film was released in December of 1967.
