It is time for wings, dips, fried stuff, subs, and lots of beer. And, oh yes, football.

On September 19, 1965, the San Francisco 49ers played their season opener against the Chicago Bears at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco. They won 52 to 24. A crowd of 31,211 watched them do it.

Now, Candlestick Park is history. And the new stadium is in Santa Clara.

Levi’s Stadium has a larger capacity than either Kezar or Candlestick Park, with 68,500 seats, 165 luxury suites and 8,500 club seats. And it has all of the bells and whistles that the tech companies can offer. Here is an overview of the new place from last year when it first opened.

There have been complaints about the parking and trouble with the turf. The fixes need to be done soon. Super Bowl 50 is coming to this super techie place on February 7, 2016.
